Maze Clays is a new shotgun shooting discipline created by Bill V. Erdoss and Andrei Erdoss and owned by Maze Clays LLC.

Maze Clays uses a particular field setup, shooting and classification rules. (To be Finalized)

Maze Clays utilizes a Movable Support System (patent applied for). The MSS is composed of:
1. a transport cart for 6-9 trap release heads with safety screen attachment
2. movable shooting station indicators

The transport cart, handled by the operator of the field, transports the 7-9 trap release heads to any position on the field such that the operator can launch from those positions any clay target from any throwing machine.

The advantages of the transport cart are:
1. The operator of the field can follow the shooter at each shooting station
2. The operator can position himself behind the shooting station, in a safe position, close enough to hear the shooter's call for the target
3. The operator can easily communicate with the shooter or the referee during the round.

The dual safety screen limits the gun's muzzle movement in a safe area for two shooters.

The functions of the movable shooting station indicator are:
1. The movable shooting station indicator shows the positions from where the shooting action takes place.
2. The movable shooting station indicators are also used for the correct alignment and positioning of the mobile support device.

The movable shooting station indicators can be repositioned in new locations with each setting.

The Maze Clays discipline can be set up on a Skeet & Trap field, Skeet only, Trap only or open field.

The shooting field is divided into 2 areas: Shooting Station Area, where the movable shooting stations and some target throwers are placed and Machines Area where only target throwers are placed.

With each setting the shooting stations and the mobile throwers have a new position on the field.

The Maze Clays utilize 6-9 throwing machines. On a Skeet & Trap field Maze Clays uses the existing machines from the two skeet houses and the trap house and 3-6 additionally trap machines. One of the additionally machine can be a rabbit, a teal, or a battue etc.

Due to the mobility of the Support System the operator of the round can launch from any place on the field any clay target thrown by 6-9 traps. The shooter can shoot upon target presentations from different angles and distances ranging from 10 yards to 60 yards. Practically Maze Clays offers unlimited target presentations.

A new round can start at any station, thus resulting in new target presentations (different angles and distances) using the same menu.

You can position yourself in any place on the field being followed at your shooting position by the operator of the field who moves the MSS. You can ask verbally the operator to launch for you any target thrown from 6-9 traps. The operator can position him/her self behind you in a safe area and can launch the targets at your command.

Maze Clays uses a dual safety screen that can be repositioned on each shooting station such that the shooter will point the gun in a safe area.
1. The dual safety screen has a mandatory position on the shooting station such that the horizontal bar is lined up with the shooting station indicator. This positioning of the safety screen on each shooting station requires the shooter to move the gun's muzzle in a safe area.
2. The Maze Clays setup mandates additionally, portable fences be placed as extensions to the existing Skeet field fences
3. The traps placed on the Shooting Station Area must have protective walls on both sides
4. Maze Clays has clear and specific safety shooting rules. (To be finalized)

Maze Clays can be shot on short rounds of 25 shells or long round of 50 shells.
1. The shooter may shoot two shells upon a single target presentation and two shells for a pair presentation.
2. The shooter can not change the barrels' choke tubes during the round.
3. The shooters can use 16 gauge guns.
4. The shooter must have a mandatory position on the shooting station
